We recommend our Foundations classes or booking a private session to learn the method at your own pace. These options ensure you build confidence, master the fundamentals, and receive personal guidance before moving into more dynamic classes. Our semi-private format also means you'll never feel lost–we meet you exactly where you are.

We recommend arriving 5 to 10 minutes before class to get settled, change into grip socks, and prepare for your session. This allows time to connect briefly with your instructor and begin class feeling focused rather than rushed.

We kindly ask for at least 12 hours notice for group classes and 24 hours notice for private sessions.  This allows us to keep every class available for those ready to step into their practice.  Late cancellations or missed sessions will be charged in full.

Private Sessions

Your first session starts with a discussion of your goals, movement history, and current fitness. Together, after an initial assessment, we craft a personalized plan designed just for you. Each session blends hands-on adjustments, precise alignment cues, and tailored modifications. You’ll leave with clarity, confidence, and guidance to continue your progress beyond the studio.

Private sessions are 50 minutes long.  We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early to settle in and discuss any questions or concerns.

Consistency is key to change, so we recommend 1-2 sessions weekly sessions.  Together, we assess your goals, fitness level, and schedule to build your ideal program.

We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full, as this time has been specifically reserved for you.

Not at all.  Private sessions are ideal for both beginners and seasoned practitioners. If you’re new to Pilates, we’ll focus on building a strong foundation with proper alignment, core connection, and breath. For experienced clients, sessions are tailored to deepen technique, refine movement patterns, and target specific goals, creating a practice that continually evolves with you.

Yes! We offer duet sessions for two people. These are ideal for those looking to share the experience while enjoying personalized guidance. Perfect for partners, friends, or family who want to move together, each session is tailored to every body.

All of our sessions are exclusively in-studio. This ensures you receive personalized guidance, hands-on adjustments, and the full Powerhaus Pilates experience in a focused, intimate setting.

Because Pilates is an unregulated industry, choosing instructors with true accreditation is essential. A comprehensively certified instructor completes 450–600 hours of study and practice over the course of a year before earning their title. At Powerhaus Pilates, every instructor exceeds this standard and continues to advance their expertise through ongoing education, workshops, and professional training—so you can trust your practice is always in the best hands.

Absolutely. Private sessions are fully tailored to your body, allowing your instructor to provide modifications, props, and hands-on guidance to safely address injuries or limitations. We work with your individual needs to build strength, improve mobility, and support your overall wellness.

To secure your ideal time, we recommend booking at least a week in advance, as popular spots tend to fill quickly. We’ll always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests, but many clients prefer to reserve their next session before leaving—creating a consistent rhythm in their practice and ensuring their preferred schedule.
