It’s your first time at Powerhaus Pilates. What to expect….

Welcome! I am so excited you are here. Here’s what you can expect moving forward!  

1. Location – The studio is conveniently located inside Powell Fitness Gym at 3967 Presidential Pkwy Suite A. Powell, OH. 

Look for Sharcuterie and Buckeye Bounce House, Powell Fitness doors are in between the two. Powell Fitness has ample free parking and the gym has accessible showers and lockers to use. If you need child care, Mangos Place Powell is located in the same development–across the parking lot. They offer hourly care.  (I have used them since my child was 1 year old and highly recommend)

Upon your first visit, I will meet you in the lobby of the gym and walk with you back to the private studio space which is secluded from the rest of the gym.

2. Attire – Clothing should be comfortable and athletic for movement.  Absolutely NO hanging jewelry such as earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Let’s save you the trouble of getting the necklace caught and help prolong the longevity of the equipment. Fitness watches are okay! During the summer months, if you choose to wear shorts, please ensure that you have compression shorts to avoid embarrassment for the both of us. 

Grip socks are necessary during your session.  They are sanitary and improve the longevity of the equipment.  Bounce house and hospital socks are unapproved.  If you do not have grip socks for your first session, it is okay to wear a fresh pair of regular socks.  If you choose to continue your Pilates practice with me, grip socks will be necessary.  You can purchase grip socks online at retailers such as Amazon or Tavi | ToeSocks (cute stylish socks). Local Pilates/barre studios with group classes also carry socks.  

3. Scheduling –  I aim to make your Pilates experience as convenient and transparent as possible. Each session is 60 minutes allowing us to work from head to toes.

I offer flexible appointment times, and you can choose the slots that best suit your schedule. If you have specific time preferences, please let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate them.

I generally recommend scheduling appointments 2 times a week to see the best results, but the frequency can be adjusted based on your needs and preferences.

4. Pricing – Each individual Pilates session starts at $100 and decreases based on a package. Packages will provide you with a more cost-effective choice as you continue your journey with me.  Friendly reminder, your first session with me is free! 🙂
